1. Standard woodworking tools may be used (eg:electric portable drill, electric saw, impact drill,
etc.)

2. It is recommended that all blades have a carbide tip.

3. Standard stainless steel or acceptable coated deck screws and nails are recommended.

4. Protective clothing, safety glasses and respiratory protection are recommended.

Praparation

Before installation, to ensure smooth snd clean ground surface and strong foundation. For soil ground, be laid solid pilling foundation to fix joists; for concrete ground, to ensure its ground thickness≧6cm avoiding the drilling hole being cracking, subsidence, or not good for the force of the expansion pipe (wood bulge plug). We recommended no more than 5mm’s horizontal error. Screw used in the installation must be galvanized or stainless steel avoiding being rust.

We recommend distance of 30cm to 35cm in paralled joists (If the decking and the joist are not vertical, the distance should be shortened. ). Too wide a distance will cause a bending down of the decking board.

c. Gap at joint

Gap at the longitudinal joints of the joists should be reserved with the deep groove side being closely to the ground and the shallow groove side being up.

2. Decking Installation

a. First piece of decking board is installed at the most side. The single piece is recommended to
be no more than 3m.

b. Pay attention to dilation joints reservation.

c. Seams on the decking in vertical are fixed with K-2, locking one end of the decking, which can be controlled stretching in one direction.

d．According the above method to compete the installation. When the decking board stretches out of the joist, be sure no longer than 2cm, or bending and even fragmentation will appear.

e. Edge board is usually fixed on the decking board or the joist alone.
