That’s why we use recovered wood fibers and plastics that would otherwise be trash buried in landfills to manufacture our material. We’ve invested heavily in technology and infrastructure to make recovered materials new again with superior features and benefits including total encapsulation of wood fibers. Our process is so unique, we’ve even received a China patent for our production.

We’re also extremely conscious of the impact our manufacturing plants have on the environment. Our process uses less fuel to create our composite decking than other companies, and we recycle almost 100% of our waste. Doing the right things for the earth has been our passion since our company found, and we’re committed to the philosophy of saving our earth for future generations.
Water-resistant WPC Decking is made from 90% pre- and post-consumer recycled content. But because it is manufactured with SSTI total encapsulation process, quality is never sacrificed. WPC is proven to be one of the most durable composites in the industry. It has endured the test of time since inception with projects such as the South Padre Island Convention Center boardwalk, built in 1992 and still going strong.
WPC’s proprietary technology begins with cleaning, pre-treating, heating and mixing wood fibers and polyethylene, and then continues with extrusion and cooling. We completely encapsulate the wood fiber prior to extrusion to ensure that WPC will always live up to its name.
