Wood Plastic Composites specializes in using recycled HDPE plastics (like milk jugs) to divert materials from being land filled and to help conserve energy since plastics require a great deal of energy to produce. Shanghai Seven Trust Industry also uses wheat straw as a superior form of cellulose rather than wood for its natural fiber. Agri-fiber is annually produced whereas trees require decades to harvest and harvesting forests are known to adversely impact ecosystems.
